WALLPAPER TIPS:

1. PREP WALLS CORRECTLY:

Before installing the wallpaper, the walls should be prepped beforehand. If your wall has texture, it will need to be floated & primed. Wallpaper can be installed on textured walls

(not recommended), but the texture will be noticeable over the wallpaper and seams won't close properly.

2. MAKE SURE TO GET MATCHING LOT/ RUN NUMBER

Getting different lot/ run numbers can affect matching and/or color shadow.

3. ORDER ENOUGH MATERIAL:

Some projects have more waste than others. For example, a bathroom or a dining room creates more waste than an accent wall. The pattern match you choose also affects directly the amount of wallpaper that is going to be wasted, on the other hand, a random pattern will have less waste.

4. WALLPAPER ESTIMATOR:

For each 50sqft you are going to need a double roll (for residential wallpaper) this may vary depending on the dimensions of the rolls and pattern repeat. If your project (walls) need many cuts and you are choosing a wallpaper with a straight match or offset match, I recommend to order an extra roll of wallpaper to make sure there is enough wallpaper for your project. If after the installation, you have leftover wallpaper, it is best to save it in case of future repairs.
